About our Project

Brassica Oleracea is a plant species that includes many common foods as cultivars, including cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussels sprouts, collard greens, etc. It has a high tolerance for salt and lime. So we decided to grow cabbage in a bag with four different percentages of salt. One with no salt, one with 1%, one with 4%, and one with 8%. We wanted to see which one would grow the best. So throughout the year we will continue to watch and see how our cauliflower grows and and what changes.
